Food Technologist
Job Description:
We are seeking a Food Technologist to join our team at the Spices Plant. As a Food Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our Spices Plant products, from raw material sourcing to finished product packaging. You will work closely with production staff to ensure that our products meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality

Monitor production processes and conduct regular product testing

Investigate and troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory standards and industry best practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing ones

Manage documentation related to product quality, including ingredient specifications and production records

Conduct training for production staff on quality control procedures and product safety

Participate in audits and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies and customers

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing environment

Knowledge of wheat flour milling processes and products

Understanding of food safety regulations and quality control procedures

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
